Porcelain vasesStar Root Farm values craftsmanship. Our gift shop has a variety of handmade products from Maine and around the world.  Many of these crafts are made by our neighbors and friends. 

Trent Gibbs is Star Root Gift Shop's featured porcelain master. We used to travel to Trent’s studio on the Maine Coast to pick up his crafts. He’s in Tennesee now, so we call him.

Fine Indian fabricsStar Root Gift Shop also features fine Indonesian crafts for home and garden that I purchased in Bali. Sasha Duerr, my sister and an award winning international fabric artist, and I visited Jiapur, a city in India. There I bought fine Anohki decorative cloth made naturally and with vegetable dye. Anohki is a sustainable community with a world wide clientele.
