Growing Biodynamic Produce

Some carrotsThat’s what we do. Star Root Farm grows organic vegetables and berries utilizing biodynamic agriculture. Biodynamics is the original organic farming technique. Developed by Rudolf Steiner in 1924, biodynamics teaches us each farm can be a sustainable ecosystem. The farm is a self-contained organism rooted in the earth and sky. It develops its own essence, like in winemaking each vinyard is known for its individual terroir.

We enliven Star Root Farm through crop diversity, crop rotation, and by administering biodynamic planting, cultivating, and fertilizing methods. We work to harvest great produce while enriching our soil, the planet's most valuable living resource.
